Kpop in Anime: CNBLUE

CNBLUE is a South Korean pop/rock band sign under the label of FNC Entertaiment. The four-members band first debut in the Japanese market with their 1st Japanese mini-album Now and Never released in 2009. Their Korean debut came later, in 2010, with Bluetory their 1st Korean EP.

CNBLUE is one of the few South Korean group whom debut in Japan before debuting in their home country.

They debut with Now and Never in 2009, but they had to wait 2011 before meeting with the success with their single “In My Head” that can be found on their 3rd Japanese LP. The song was also used as ending for the TV broadcast of the anime version of Supernatural (yes the american TV show)

In October 2016 the group released their 7th Japanese LP, Euphoria, with “Puzzle” as lead single
