I don’t know for you but I really see like the fall season pass fast, maybe it’s because I had the feeling of working every days. But, even if I had the feeling to be always at work I still manage to watch all the show on my watch list…okay I dropped two of them, but all the other are still there.

Before starting the round-up and giving you my general thought on the Fall series I was watching, let’s give a look at the original list

  • Black Clover
  • Juuni Taisen: Zodiac War
  • The Ancient Magus’ Bride
  • Garo Vanishing Line
  • The Recovery on an MMO Junkie
  • Kino Journey -The Beautiful World- The Animated Series
  • Code Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~
  • Dies Irae
  • Taishou Mebiusline Chicchaisan
  • Elegant Yokai Apartment Life

Which Show Did I Dropped

If you are following my weekly round-up, you already know which two titles I dropped, Dies Irae and Taishou Mebiusline Chicchaisan. Both were dropped for the same reason and not the same reason. Both show were equally confusing, but if Dies Irae managed to kept me interested up to episode 7, I dropped Taishou after 3 episode. Dies was confusing but still have some kind of cohesion, which the other didn’t have at all. Each time I was watching a new episode, I felt like it was missing something to link the episode together…the three episode I watched together. Maybe it got better letter, but I really didn’t feel like checking.

Which Show I Finished

I completed most of the show of this list, there is only three that will be continuing over the next season(s). I will just give my general thoughts, I will eventually write a full post on each title I watched.

Juuni Taisen: Zodiac War
I will not say that I was disappointed by the show, in fact I quite enjoy it, even if it wasn’t what I was expecting. He was a general storyline with a lot of background story. I have to say the background story were more interesting than the present event. But there wasn’t real plot. Pretty sure if there was a villain against which the warrior had to fight thing would have bit quite different. Cause with the show was present, all the character were in a sense a villain.

The Recovery of an MMO Junkie
I’m not a fan of romance anime, when romance is the main focus of the series I tend to avoid it. I probably miss on a lot of good title, but I just don’t feel appealed by them. Thus my surprise when I start to really enjoy this one. This is probably due to the fact the female main character, Moriko Morikawa, is relatable, I saw myself through her more than once. The way she was fangirling over Lily was me over the entire series.

Code Realize ~ Guardian of Rebirth ~
Another romance series, pure Shoujo here, it smell the Shoujo a genre I don’t usually go for, the principal reason why I watch it, it is because one of my friend played the Otome game it based on. The series was predictable but I still enjoyed it. I have to say that I’m thankful for the studio for going with the happy ending and not a bad one. it would have been an interesting twist tho.

Kino Journey -The Beautiful World- The Animated Series
While I’m not completely satisfy by the ending, even if the sheep part really made me laugh, I enjoyed most of the series. Since I haven,t watch the original 2003 series, I cannot compare the two.

Elegant Yokai Apartment Life
Even after finishing the series, I can’t still explain why I like this series. The story is not that interesting and the character are a bit boring, but I still enjoyed it. I have to say the second half of the series was probably better than the first.

The On-going Series

Black Cover

So far I’m really enjoying what I see, I don’t care about what other thing, even if the show is unoriginal and follow the same guideline than pretty much all the other Shounen of the same genre, I still like the show. Plus I,m getting used to Asta screaming.

Garo: Vanishing Line

I was looking forward that one after seeing the promotional video and so far I’m not disappointed. It got an interesting story even if it seem to drag a little. The fun part is…I have no clue when the series will end.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride

I love that show, this week we will start the second half of the series and I’m seriously looking forward to it. I really love the fantasy side of it with all the mythical creature. The first half have a good balance between the comedy and the for serious moment, I kind of hope it continue on that line.

The Fall season 2017 brought me a lot of interesting title, some that I liked more than the other. I am now looking for the Winter 2018 season, the three show I’m mostly looking forward are Violet Evergarden, I saw some of the visual and it look stunning, Card Captor Sakura: The Clear Card Arc, one of the view magical girl that I love and the 2nd season of Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, I really like the 1st season and I hope the 2nd will be as funny. For the other show I might watch I will have to look into that soon. Keep your eyes open for the Winter 2018 Watch to know all the show I’m planning to watch.

~ Thank you for reading ~

See you next time
