Monday in Music | Pushing the Sky by The Seatbelts

Series: Cowboy Bebop
Artist: The Seatbelts
Type: Insert

Hi everyone!
Hope the first day of the week is not too hard on you so far.

Today’s Monday in Music will feature one of my favorite insert song.

Pushing the Sky” performed by The Seatbelts and sung by Mai Yamane, is one of the insert song that can be heard in the Cowboy Bebop movie, Knockin’ on Heavens Door. For those you saw the movie, the track play during Spike and Vincent last fight. The song can be found on the movie OST “Future Blues” released in 2001

The Seatbelt is led by Yoko Kanno who composed the OST of the anime series of Cowboy Bebop, in case you weren’t aware, this OST is one of the best you can hear, so it’s normal the movie OST is really good to since the same people work on it and “Pushing the Sky” is probably the best insert song the movie as, the other are also good, but this one have a little something the other doesn’t have.
I’m never tired to hear it and I really don’t mind putting it on repeat just for the sake to write this post.
