Hope you are all doing well today!
No anime, no manga for today’s post, but a video game post and it’s not about the Sims 4, but about a video game that I really enjoy ( of course cause I would not talk about it if I didn’t like it.)
Summer in Mara single player video game developed by the indie studio Chibig who are also behind the video game; we follow the adventure of Koa a little orphan who discover the world of Mara and maybe more.
The first time I heard about that video game was when I was watching the upcoming framing game for the Switch back in the beginning of 2020 or late 2019 (can’t remember) seeing the trailer I go excited about it, I like farming game and I really like how the world look.
Then the game came out on Switch and I obviously bought and I felt in love with it.
The game start with a little tutorial / intro story, that explain you a bit about the world in which Koa lived in, we meet Yaya who is a Guido who raised little Koa, she found her as a baby near a sinking ship, we don’t have any background information about Koa’s origin. Once the intro is over we see the game opening leading to an a bit more older Koa who live now alone after Yaya, I would guess passed away, not too sure about what happened to her, it is not clearly explain, however Koa made a little shrine with a “remembrance” interaction which makes me think that Yaya is dead.
This is now the debut of Koa’s adventure, you will advance in the story which completing quest, like doing errand for someone or gathering material / ingredients.
The world of Mara is really big, at first you can only visit a few place like Qualis where you will meet a lot on important people, like Saimi who knew Yaya when they were younger most of them will give you side quest to will help you to progress the main one which is at first discovering the world of Mara, the main quest will change eventually.
I have to admit that I still haven’t finished the game, I had to start back from the beginning, cause despite having a kind of jornal where you can read where are at in the story, I still wasn’t sure of what I needed to do, so yeah, far to be done, might write another post once I finish the game in twenty years.
For those of you who might have play (and finished) the game, I meet Dunna and now I need to get the recipe to make a salad.
I really like the game and plus it has a really handsome character (it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t try to find one cutie right)
Meet Aquila, an Elit, don’t know much about him or his race other than the Elite are asshole except for Aquila (at least so far). He lives in a mansion on Qualis.
This was my little post about Summer in Mara, hope you like it.
Did you played the game? Let me know what you think in the comment section below.
